- More Gmail spam

  Those Gmail invitations really become a kind of spam. If anyone needs any,
  feel free to mail me on schlitt at gmail dot com to ask for one... There are
  still 5 of 6 left.

- libgmailer

  Through a blog entry by Urs Gehrig I came to a nice little PHP script, the
  so-called libgmailer. This little class provides easy access to the Gmail
  interface through PHP. It supports all necessary methods to send and receive
  emails, to browse folders and manage contacts. Since everyone has a Gmail
  account now and most of the people I know do not really use it, libgmailer
  is a funny way to maybe get some benefit out of Gmail.

- First webhoster with PHP5

  Domain)Factory (Germany's 5th largest web hosting company) recently
  announced to fully support PHP 5.0.0.  For nearly every package
  Domain)Factory offers it's possible to enable PHP 5 support within a simple
  .htaccess. By default files with the extensiuon .php5 are run through it.

- At the pulse of time

  As mostly everybody knows, I'm feeling really geek and I definitly like geek
  toys.

- Switching off referrer stats

  I switched off the referrer stats of Serendipty again, because of referrer
  spam. This kind of spam really sucks. Take a look at the first Webalizer
  stats if July for my page:

- Ad-sensed

  May page became ad-sensed. I recently got my verification to put Google's
  ad-sense advertisment onto my website. This should help me to reduce the
  cost generated by my server and stuff. Hope that works a bit.

- AOL employee injailed for address sale

  As to be read on heise.de (German) and Slashdot (English), an AOL employee
  has been arrested for selling customer addresses to spammers... I always
  knew that... ;)

- BEWARE: orkut.com <=> orkit.com

  Recently I got pointed to http://www.orkit.com, which obviously looks like
  http://www.orkut.com (the popular service by Google). But beware! Also the
  site looks exactly the same way that Orkut looks like it are different
  registrars:

- GMail - Here we go

  Finally I got a GMail account for testing. :) Thanks to David Costa who
  invited me! You can from now on reach me at [schlitt@gmail.com]. Please send
  me some rant or so, if you got time, so I can test their advertising stuff!

  Finally I managed to bring my server up to dat regarding spam and antivirus
  facilities.
