- Tux and PHP

  On the Deutsche Bank Linux Day HP distributed some nice Tux imitates. Look,
  what the penguin likes to drink every day! ;)

- PHP Conference

  So, the International PHP Conference 2003 in Frankfurt am Main gets nearer
  and nearer. Tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. is the starting shot.

- Net_SMS

  So, I called for votes on Net_SMS today. As I will open my new website to
  public in several minutes, is here the link to it's project website.

- Proposed PEAR::SMS

  So, last night I proposed a package called PEAR::SMS, which allows the
  developer to send and recieve SMS trhough a connected cellular device. As
  backend the *nix/Windows tool Gammu is used. Gammu supports variouse
  cellphones (most Nokia and Siemens), as well als internal GSM devices, over
  several connection methods (eg. serial, irda, bluetooth).

- Performance tuning for Image_Text

  Several features were still missing in Image_Text. While a feature and
  realization chat session Pierre-Alain Joye had a deeper look at the class
  and applied some very important tuning patches.

- Called for votes in pear-dev about Image_Text and Image_Tools

  Today I send a call for votes to the pear-dev list regarding the packages
  Image_Text (comfortable handling of single and multiline texts in GD2
  images) and Image_Tools (should become a collection of static methods,
  handling common image operations).
