phpPatterns introduces a new pattern example on the (IMHO) most redundant software implementation world wide. It implements the "Hello world!" tool (which is a common way to start learning a new programming language) using a MVC pattern in PHP. S9Y (as most people just call it, because Se-ren-di-pi-ty are just to many syllables) currently has a pretty cool name, but no logo. Colin Viebrock, the designer of php.net made an amazing new logo for Planet PHP. His first draft corresponded nearly exactly to my own idea of a new, cool logo. 2 drafts later the new logo was finished. Extremely cool and extremely fast.
