- Be there: Against software patents!

  Thursday (24th of June 2004), at Linuxtag in Karlsruhe, will be a
  demonstration against the European software patents, which passed the
  European parlament a short while ago. Everybody: Stand up and join as in
  Karlsruhe!

- Welcome back, GIF!

  Only a couple of days are left until the patent on the, mostly used in GIF
  and TIF images, LZW compression algorithm runs out. The patent, hold by
  Unisys has already expired in the USA last year. Today it expires in Europe,
  too, and Canada (as the last state worldwide) will follow on July the 7th.

- Linuxtag is coming...

  One week left until Linuxtag.

- Attention: Gallery security update

  Everyone using the Gallery software should urgently update their
  installation!

- Better wiki markup for S9Y

  Since the configuration facilities of S9Y's wiki plugin are still very
  rudimentary I started reworking the plugin on my own. It's not really deeply
  tested, but the main features worked well, so I will start using it here
  tomorrow.

- Cool features - ever missed...

  You are using Mozilla or Firefox?

- Switched to S9Y 0.6 - cool stuff!

  Yeah, finally I switched to Serendipity 0.6-pl1. And yeah, it's really cool.

- Favicon for Planet-PHP

  As some of you might have noticed, since a few minutes Planet-PHP has it's
  own favicon. :) Nice!

- Report from Asterdam (finally)

  So, since I had no time yesterday to write some stuff on Amsterdam and the
  net connection there was too poor to upload some photos and stuff, I will
  give you a little overview now.
