- Fruit and vegetable mix...

  Since we got PEAR, PECL, Bananas and now PEPr, the PHP community seems to
  become a real mix of fruits and vegetables...

- Regex magic

  Klaus Guenther posted a really cool tool on pear-dev, called Regex Coach.
  It's a handy little GUI application (available for X and Windows), that lets
  you create and instantly test your regular expressions on any example
  string.

- New website features

  I updated the website for actual content and some features.

- PHP Conferemce 2004 Spring Edition...

  For the PHP Conference 2004 Spring Edition I proposed 3 sessions in
  cooperation with several other people from the PEAR and PHP community. As
  there are:

- Extended pattern session with Marco

  Marco Kaiser asked me to support me with the pattern session I proposed for
  the PHP Conference 2004 Spring Edition. I changed the proposal to be a
  double session and added marko as speaker. We'll give an introduction into
  the sense of patterns and their practical usage during OO design and
  implementation of PHP projects.

- Layout updated / Slogan update

  I recently updated the color scheme for the website and the blog. Looks much
  nicer in firebird now. Since I got no Internet Explorer installed (never had
  the      patience to make it running with wine) I could only test it with
  Firebird and Konqueror. Would be cool, if anyone using other browsers could
  send me a screenshot to avoid hardcore layout errors. Thx! :)

- Blinkenlights reloaded

  The CCC (ChaosComputerClub, greatest german hacker association) presents (as
  usual) their project "Blinkenlights" in Berlin. Blinkenlights uses the
  windows of a building to emulate a display on them. Computer steered light
  sources (now supporting grey scales) present pictures and even animations.

- The captured Santa Clause
