I restructured the UML diagram for the game again and found a (IMHO) good start structure, which is flexible to be extended to the "Sailsman-Edition" and the "City and Knights Extension" or with different frontends. - PEPr production delayed... The official introduction of PEPr for PEAR will be delayed again for some time. I proposed a patch to add a new Karma-Level for PEPr-only-users on pearweb, which now has to be tested. That's just a very small piece of change in the PEAR granting system, so I hope to be enabled to commit them soon. - This is a scandal! Microsoft advertises against Linux. - Bye bye Gimp... Sorry to say, but I really dislike The Gimp. The tool maybe cool but sooooo strange from it's handling. I will definitly try newer versions of it, if such issues get fixed, but now, I hate to search 30 minutes for easiest functions. - Picture postcard... Picture postcard... - Back to Frankfurt Back to Frankfurt I started development immediatelly after arrival again. It's better working in my knowen environment. Last days were so full of party and meeting all of my friends at home, that I had ver few time to do what I promised to do on PEPr, Phatan, Net_FTP and the Image_* Packages I provide... A lot of work for the new year. (btw. I did not post any "Happy new year" wisches here... so I do now: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!) - PHP Lookback 2003 Derick wrote (as usual) a lookback about PHP development in the past year: - Toonfisch... ... is a very cool german comic website.... - I love... ... blog buttons! You know, these cool, tiny, well designed buttons one can put on a website to provide different information to the visitors. You can see some of these down below on the left side. Cool, eh? ;) I inserted some cool ones on the main website, too. There are 4 randomly inserted buttons. This doesn't give the website a graphical overload and gives it a bit more dynamic.
