This year they write about RFID tags hidden inside the normal german TUV badge. Pretty funny to read, as every year. :) - 10 years on the web... A pretty nice article about the last 10 years with and on the internet is available on Heise. They tell a pretty cool story of the first iX Webserver (bound on a 64k ISDN channel) until today. Pretty cool! - Net_FTP 1.3.0beta2 I fired another releas of Net_FTP this afternoon, since I added 2 new (pretty mini, but usefull) features. - Happy Birthday! Heise Online is 10 years old now! :) - Yeti Sports 3 http://www.yetisports.org/ - Enhancing firefox... As all german geeks out there should have noticed, the newsticker of the Heise (best german IT magazine publisher) has changed it's face today for the first time since 5 years... and not to a better one in my opinion. - "Neue Birnen" online The PHP Magazin(german) articel I wrote about last weekend is now available online: Neue Birnen braucht das Land. - Net_FTP 1.3.0beta1 The last release of PEAR::Net_FTP was about a half year ago. I fixed all bugs and added new functionalities like an observer for up- and downloads and chmoding (recursivly). This release is beta rated, cause I have not enough time to test it extensivly. The stable release should follow in 1-2 weeks, if no seriouse bugs occur. - More web findings... Some ineteressting links found on the web:
