Being "brainbench certified" ;)

I have pretty much the same feeling about this exam that Markus has. Most
questions are easily solveable using `php.net`__ online docs, if you are
unsure about the answer. I don't really see a point in testing how familiar
people are with the docs, but that seems to be the main purpose of the exam.
The also have a lot of questions with a large mess of code, where it takes you
at least 1 minute to read the code itself, before you can look at any
question. Beside that, there are a lot of questions, which deal with
deprecated PHP features. For example I got 3 questions about ereg functions
and 2 about the old mysql extension.

Basically I think this so-called "certification" is completly useless. :) But,
`make yourself a picture`__, it's free! ;)

  Pfah, better than 90% of the previous examinees... I got ya beat at 94%,
  swallow that and cry :-D

  And don't try to talk yourself out of this by pointing to these few beers
  you've had - I am known for being certifiably insane even without consuming
  the smallest drop of alcohol :-)

  Still, the "certification" is a joke and me passing it only proves that :-)

  What a silly exam! I scored higher than 97% of previous examinees.

  This reminds me of people who think knowing the syntax is all what
  programming is about. I interviewed a guy who had less than a year of PHP
  experience and asked him if he has someone to help him and guide him, he
  asnwered "I have the PHP manual, I don't need anybody!"
