  Raucher sind nicht unbedingt die beliebtesten Menschen. Außer wenn man unter Rauchern ist, versteht sich. Das ist auch kaum verwunderlich, denn der Raucher schadet nicht nur sich erwiesener Maßen mit seinem Qualm, sondern auch den Menschen in seiner Umgebung. Daneben stinkt Rauch auch noch und das muss selbst der Raucher zugeben. Spätestens am Morgen nach einer durch gequalmten Nacht mag selbst ein Raucher seine Sachen vom Vorabend nicht mehr riechen. Solche Nächte werden einem Raucher, Nichtraucherschutz sei Dank, in letzter Zeit auch immer weniger gegönnt.Da fragt man sich, ob für die geplagten Raucher nicht eine Alternative besteht. Klar, "Aufhören!", ruft gleich der Nichtraucher. Doch wer schon mal abhängig von Nikotin war, der weiß, das ist leichter gesagt als getan. Wer schon mal versucht hat den täglichen Kaffee-Konsum auszusetzen, kann es sich vielleicht vorstellen. Nur 100 mal schlimmer. Außerdem gilt für's Rauchen wie für's Kaffee trinken: Es macht ja auch Spaß! Leben wir also in einer hoch-technisierten Welt und haben keine Lösung für das Raucher-Problem?   I've been to the Dortmund post office quite often lately, mostly because I'm never at home when the postman wants to deliver my packages. The largest German post service provider "Deutsche Post AG" also owns a bank, the "Postbank". While they did not bother me with any of that stuff earlier, their advertisement for non-postal and postal products starts getting more and more annoying. But let me start at the beginning...   As some of you may already have noticed, I'm 95% offline again in the last couple of days. My net connection in my new home is still broken and today I finally managed to get online through the university WiFi. Not the best solution (since I have to hang around in the uni to be online), but the best currently possible. I still try kicking the technicans in my new home in their asses to make them work a bit faster. But since they all are students, too, the chances are not the best to get online their so fast... :( [Read full post…]

  As some may have already noticed, I will move my home this weekend from Schwalbach (near Frankfurt) to Darmstadt (a bit away from Frankfurt) where I will start studying on the 13th of October.
