- Ich darf das, ich bin Jude II

  Erstklassiger, junger Humor, der interessante Einblicke in verschiedene
  Kulturen liefert. Wer's grenzwertig mag oder bestimmte Grenzen einfach nicht
  mehr akzeptiert, der ist hier genau richtig.

- Ich darf das, ich bin Jude

  Provokant, jüdisch, witzig. Das zumindest erwarte ich von der Lesung des
  o.g. Titels am Freitag-Abend.

- Armes, armes Deutschland

  Ich kann ja wirklich viel Dummfug im Deutschen Fernsehen ab, aber dass es
  immer noch schlimmer geht...

- Britney Spears, C64 und Rock-Musik

  Machinae Supremacy mischen C64-Sounds mit angenehmer Rock-Musik. Kombiniert
  mit Britney Spears, macht das ganze am meisten Spaß.

- Fighting "personal spam"?

  I've been to the Dortmund post office quite often lately, mostly because I'm
  never at home when the postman wants to deliver my packages. The largest
  German post service provider "Deutsche Post AG" also owns a bank, the
  "Postbank". While they did not bother me with any of that stuff earlier,
  their advertisement for non-postal and postal products starts getting more
  and more annoying. But let me start at the beginning...

- We did it!

  Yesterday was the last tournament of this years 2nd national league saison.
  As you might guess, I'm again talking about one of my favorite hobbies:
  Formation ballroom dance sports.

- Movie recommendation: Charlie Wilson's War

  I just watched Charlie Wilson's War in cinema and can only recommend this
  movie to anyone out there. The plot tells the story how a US congress man
  covert dealings in Afghanistan in a very ironic and sarcastic way. While
  having some really good jokes this also gives you a good view behind the
  scene, how the US raised their own nowerdays enemies. I never saw a movie
  before that had this crazy mixture of elements: Highly politically bitchy,
  killingly funny and with a high-grade cast (including Tom Hanks and Julia
  Roberts).

- "Pirates of the Caribbean" - a little different...

  As you might know I'm active in ballroom dance sport for years now and (if
  time allows) I'm going to contests, too. While time was rare for this in the
  past few years, I'll be competing this year again, thanks to my very good
  friend and trainer Marc. When Marc came to me last year in November, begging
  me (almost on his knees) to join the A team (the best one, currently
  competing in the second national league), I decided that I need to help my
  friends and agreed to return to professional dance sports.

- Randomized Pi calculation

  I don't know which is the most common way to calculate Pi in computer
  programs, but from the stochastics book a read for my recent stochastics
  exam, I have a randomized variation, which is quite cool I think. To show
  it, I implemented it in PHP:
