Correct! It's "The day after tomorrow", which I recently watched at the local cinema. This film is really cool from several viewpoints.

1. It's a nice action movie, with some very cool special effects.

2. It has a more or less realistical story.

3. It's a movie with moral sense.

4. It's very critical against the current environmental policy and the Americal politics in general.

Roland Emmerich is a great director. He loves destroying American emblems in dramatical ways ;), he has a very good hand for special effects and he manages to integrate those into a good stroy, without destroying it's sense.

In general: A big recommendation from my side for "Day after tomorrow".
